【Definition】

Information collected about patients that cannot, by itself, identify a specific individual may be considered “related personal information.” However, if such information can be combined with other data to identify a specific individual, it will be treated in the same manner as personal information.

The TCB Group collects the following types of information to achieve the purposes defined in the [Purpose of Use] section (Items ① to ③ collectively referred to as “Collected Information”)
① Information obtained directly from patients by the TCB Group
- Name, date of birth, email address, phone number
- Other information that can identify a specific individual
② Information obtained in relation to the use of various services provided by the TCB Group

③ Information indirectly collected from third parties by the TCB Group
With the patient’s consent, the TCB Group may obtain the following information from third parties such as public DMP providers and affiliate service providers, and link it with personal information already held by the TCB Group:
- Patient’s browsing history, device information, etc.
【Purpose of Use】
The TCB Group will use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide services such as clinic appointment reservations, medical services, sales of medical-related products, aftercare support, and other related services
- To collaborate with other medical institutions, testing facilities, and research organizations in relation to the provision of medical services
- To send and receive surveys related to medical services and medical-related products for the purpose of service improvement, and to carry out related responses
- To confirm and respond to inquiries or opinions
- To analyze patients’ usage of services and conduct case studies
- For advertising, publicity, and marketing purposes
【Personal Information Management System】
The TCB Group stores and manages personal information under strict control. In order to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage of such information, the Group implements necessary and appropriate organizational, human, physical, and technical security measures.
【Joint Use of Personal Information】
The TCB Group may jointly use acquired information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes outlined in Purpose of Use.
In such cases, General Incorporated Association Medical Alliance shall be responsible for managing the personal information.

【Outsourcing】
The TCB Group may outsource all or part of the handling of acquired information to external service providers within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes outlined in Purpose of Use. In such cases, the TCB Group will establish appropriate agreements with the service providers regarding the protection of personal information and ensure through contracts that the acquired information is properly managed.
【Provision to Third Parties】
The TCB Group will not disclose or provide acquired information to any third party other than contractors without the consent of the patient, except in cases permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.
【Disclosure, Correction, and Suspension of Use of Personal Information】
The TCB Group accepts requests from individuals regarding the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc., of their personal information through the inquiry form linked below.
